My Oline Identities

DOUBAN
I have 5 online identities. They are Facebook, Renren, Douban, QQ, Blog.
(There are links about renren and douban, just click the colorful names.)

QQ
All of them play  different roles in my online identities.I usually use facebook to communicate with my international friends and use Renren to know what happened to my friends in mainland China. Both of them are used to show my daily life for my friends far away from me.What's more,I often go to the Douban which is a website that afford new and famous information about visual art, music, books, films. In Douban,I can share the wonderful information with people from different fields who come from the whole country.I enjoy elegant songs and amazing images and put my comments online to share the feelings with someone.QQ is a chat device in mainland China.I use it to talk to my friends familiar or unfamiliar.Sometimes I often use it to talk to my teachers and my colleagues who are not here.I use blog because of  this course, this identity maybe more official and serious for me.

with all this online identities,I could show my recent life to my families and friends that far away from me  by articles and photos without any explanations, and I can also see  new  information about my friends ,know what  they are doing now. If it is needed, we could talk with each other immediately. Otherwise,  I can express myself to others from society in douban so that I could earn some comments about my works to promote myself.

Even though there are so many benefits for online identities, risks are till here. One of them is the safety of personal information.Of course,I don't want someone that I am not familiar with to get my personal information and the recent life of me.On the other hand I may publish something that is not so good,it may give my friends some bad sense.

The Bus Uncle

a). How many viewers are estimated to have watched the Youtube video?
From the Wikipedia's data ,this clip attracting viewers from all over the world, receiving 1.7 million hits in the first 3 weeks of that month.

b).How would you rate the video?
Bus Uncle is obviously not a video produced by high technology. It's just a clip shot by a 21-year-old accountant and part-time psychology student named Jon Fong Wing Han's camera phone. So I think the aesthetic values are not so good.Anyway, this shot video is certainly humorous and entertaining.what's more, the funny and real argument between the old man nicknamed the Bus uncle and the young passenger raised people to think about the social problem in Hong Kong. The impressive phrases You have pressure!I have pressure! It's not settled! suddenly became popular around Hong Kong. They are are now frequently used, mimicked, and parodied in Hong Kong, particularly by teenagers.
Why are these phrases so popular? Lee Sing, director of the Hong Kong Mood Disorders Centre warned that Hong Kong's high-stress working environments are spawning a city-full of "Bus Uncles".On the other hand, Ho Kwok Leung, an applied social science lecturer, held that attention surrounding the video reflected the boring lives of Hong Kong people.Furthermore, the incident highlighted the apathy of the common Hong Kong people.

c).Do you think deserved the attention that it received from the internet community?
Of course, the clip deserves the attention from the internet community. It's a window for people to see the problem that  we have to face everyday. The clip costs less materials, but it makes big effects on popular culture.
